My connection to flowers began at birth, when my mother named me Melissa—which means “honey bee.”

Clients have described my aesthetic as organic, airy, romantic and whimsical. My work is inspired by the way flora naturally occurs and thrives in the wild.

I ABSOLUTELY loved the flowers from Anthera Floral for my wedding, they were so stunning and truly everything I hoped for and more. She made my vision and Pinterest board come to life and I'm so grateful for that. I had no notes or feedback because they turned out exactly as I had hoped. Shortly after the wedding, my friend was at work, and I believe her friend, who had also used Anthera for an event in the past saw her post from my wedding and said to my friend, "Look at how beautiful these flowers were for this wedding!" and my friend was like "I was at that wedding!!" It was a fun full circle moment.

Anthera Floral was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding day! From start to finish, Melissa and the team were professional, creative, and easy to communicate with. They truly listened to our vision and color scheme, offering thoughtful suggestions for table arrangements and flower placements. One highlight was the stunning candle holders they provided with purple taper candles that perfectly tied everything together. Initially, I was nervous about not selecting the specific flowers for the arrangements, but I trusted their expertise after browsing their impressive social media portfolio. I’m so glad I did—Anthera exceeded all expectations. Their design vision is impeccable. Melissa and the team is amazing! Everyone including myself was surprised by the floral decor on that day. They showed up on time and finished the work as planned - everything went so smoothly and thanks again for making my wedding ceremony so beautiful. Before the wedding, Melissa walked through budget, flower arrangement and color selections with me patiently. I am so happy that I found this amazing florist!

Melissa did an AMAZING, incredible, wondrous, *insert all positive words here* job with our flowers for our early September wedding. From the beginning, she was easy to communicate with and brainstorm with. She completely understood my vision and respected our budget for what we needed that day. I honestly made me nervous not knowing what our floral arrangements would look like until the morning of the wedding, but my goodness did she knock it out if the park. We are so grateful for her hard work and her dedication to making beautiful floral masterpieces. If only flowers lasted forever! Thank you Melissa!!!
